Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer (2000)

Occasionally funny, mostly by accident, but deeply USAmerican on purpose. Capitalism good, CEOs reasonable, middle class should be given more power, etc. etc. Bland, awkwardly animated, and full of unsympathetic characters in emotionally unmoving scenes, and I don't think the problems can be blamed solely on the low budget. For instance, the scene where everyone gaslights the main kid is flat and dull; in the right hands it would've been very scary (for a child) with the kid scared and confused and increasingly alone, but this film wasn't in the right hands.
