Etherees

The etheree is a 10-line, syllabic form created by Etheree Taylor Armstrong (1918–1994). The first line has 1 syllable, the second has 2, and so on until the tenth line, which has 10. The overall pattern is 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 and the order can also be reversed (a reverse etheree).

There's a related form, the nonet, which is effectively a reversed etheree with 9 lines in which the first has 9 syllables (9/8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1). In practice, there's really no reason not to consider them two variants of the same form.
